Help with your frontend,thanks, looks like just what I was looking for.I recently have been interested in games. Now I have a lot downloaded and some CD,s. ID,wow,and your front end, with Doom,Heretic. The front end wont bring up
Ultimate Doom maybe because it has its own frontend. Two Questions..(1)Using your front end, no matter which game I bring up, when I exit the game, it wants to start over. WHY? (2)In some games like Quake, there is a console. There are cheats for Doom and Heretic. How do I get to the "Command Line"? I have learned to put the cheats in when I am playing Doom. Okay, so it hasn't been a full year yet, but I found my way back to this site, and it still rocks as much as ever. And yes, I still love the music! All these years and I am still a diehard Doom fan. I have been a LONG time fan of Doom (I still have LAN parties with Doom).
Anyway, I'm a professional violinist and I front a rock band here in Los
Angeles called Cynic Guru. I finally decided to write a tune to show my
gratitude for this awesome game. The song is called DOOM, and it describes
the life of a DOOM marine cutting through imps, snorting pigs, and
cacodemons. Have a listen...you might get a kick out of it! It was recorded
at Skotlapop Studios in Los Angeles....and it sounds pretty cool!!! I'd love

Has anyone played the KISS game yet? The devs were trying to recreate that DOOM feeling by having enemies swarming you. I think the game is fun, as for that DOOM feeling, only DOOM has that. There is a demo at www.kisspsychocircus.com, if you're interested.

hi.. i use linux... the only reason i have 95 is to edit maps with.. i was told by some freinds to try the dosemu
under linux and use a dos map maker... since they run several graphical games

It seems a lot of doom and doom2 sites I tried to visit are gone. I'm glad to see
that there are still some going because I like doom2 better than quake. Sure
quake has the monster engine and great sound and graphics, but it lacks what
doom2 has,mood ,atmosphere and fast pacing! When I play quake over the net,
I get cheaters, a so-so connection,players with great ping and others with average ping.Where is the fun of dying every minute,respawn,die,respawn,BORING! Find your opponent in doom2 running across an open courtyard while youre in a tower,ZAP! Hunt 'em down while fending off monsters,one on one,you cant beat this game!!!

Yes AOL sucks I am sorry. Quake has got to be one of the best games out there but I have been having a hard time finding fresh blood. Everyone where i live I can beat. No one wants to play over the internet cause it's slow. they are just a bunch of pansies. But one thing is that you people are missing two very awesome games WARCRAFT2 AND DIABLO. These games rock. Duke Nukem has some neat qualities like being able to set the swear frequency so that he swears everytime there is an explosion.

yes doom is going out of date BUT! it is still a top seller and quake WOW! first
time I played it I played multi non stop for 5 hours! now I play 10 hour games
and its a whole new game every time and you can accualy get GOOD at quake! with duke3d

Whoever iz saying that DOOM rules over Quake needs to get a realistic
perspective.
DOOM is out of date. Bitmap games are a thing of the past and 3D games are
the sh*t! BTW... Lucifer, Duke 3D is not better than Quake... Where the f*ck
did you crawl out from?? Duke still uses 2D bitmaps for its enemies.

I usually run Quake around 2:30 or 3 a.m. EDT because of my newspaper job keeping me out all night. I usually run Qspy and find the quickest one.
