These lovely vases are appealing with or without flowers in them. The tallest of the Fluted Vases (‘A’ at right and below) is 9 3/4" tall, 5 1/2" at its widest with an inside diameter of 3 1/2" at the mouth. The bottom is wide enough to accommodate anything up to a 3" round pin frog. I love the 10" Fluted Vase with plum branches in the Spring or with Japanese iris as shown at right. The 6" Fluted Vase (‘D’ below Left) is a wonderful shape for summer bouquets. It is 5 3/4" tall, 5" at its widest with an inside diameter of 2 1/4" at the mouth that accepts a 2" round frog. The Globe Vases conjure up images of nature for many people gourds and sea creatures among others. They are equally at home with an asymmetrical arrangement or, as shown at right, with a more traditional bouquet. The original 6" Fluted Globe (B and E) is 6 1/2" in diameter and 3 3/4" high. The opening is 2 3/4" in diameter and accepts either a 2" or 2 1/2" round pin frog. The newest size is the 5" Fluted Globe (C), which is 5" in diameter, 3 3/4" high with a 2" opening that accepts a 2" pin frog. If you need information about pin frogs, go to Pin Frogs.
