Angraecum longicalcar outcross #4297 ('Stony Point' x 'Huntington Gardens') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: It is found in Madagascar on the western slopes of the central highlands. Plants grow semiterrestrially amoung rocks, often in almost full sun at 3300 to 3950 ft. The stem is 12 to 16" on old plants. The inflorescence will have up to 12 flowers that are night fragant. Culture: I have been growing this in warm temperatures, but it may be more appropriate to intermediate or even cool-intermediate conditions. Reduce the watering and fertilizer in the winter. Grow in bright light. Capsule parent: Angraecum longicalcar '2997'
