Sold out Vanda miniata, formerly Ascocentrum miniatum outcross #2764 ('Stony Point' x 'Jaco's Best') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: Vanda miniata grows in Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and the Philippines. This is an imported plant from Malaysia. The pollen parent is a different clone from the same source. It is a compact, free flowering species. The flowers are 5/8" wide and produced on an inflorescence that has up to 30 flowers. This is an outcross of a correctly identified Vanda miniata. Many Vanda miniata in cultivation are actually Vanda garayi. Culture: Grow this in warm conditions, with moderately bright light. I grow this is a basket with very little medium and water it so that it is dry between waterings. Capsule parent: Ascocentrum miniatum 'Stony Point' |
