Sold out Aeranthes ramosa sefling #397 ('Stony Point' x self) (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: This is a variable species in both shape and color. It is endemic to Madagascar where it grows at elevations from 3300 to 5000 feet in humid, evergreen forests in the east of the country. The long, wiry, branching inflorescense will rebloom over a period of several years and should not be cut until you are sure it is dead. the flowers are about 3" tall and 2" wide and on this clone a dark green. For reference, the plant in the last picture is hanging in a 5" net pot but is growing in a 4" pot. Culture: I grow this with year round water and dilute fertilizer. I grow it in shady to moderate light in a fine bark mix. This one is in a net pot and is suspendedt so the pendant spikes can hang down. Parent: Aeranthes ramosa 'Stony Point'
