Sold out Cattleya/Laelia jongheana alba sibling cross #4036 ('1526' x '8784') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: This has been known for years as Laelia jongheana and is now properly called Cattleya jongheana. This compact species is from Minas Gerais, Brazil where it is found between 4600 and 5300 ft elevations. A mature specimen sized plant will have growth in the 6 to 9" tall range with very short rhizomes. Capsule parent: Cattleya jongheana alba '1526'. This was an unbloomed seedling from Brazil and had a 6.5" flower on the first blooming. Pollen parent: Cattleya jongheana alba '8784' |
