Sold out Centroglossa macroceras outcross #2791 ('Tom' x 'Ben') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: A delightful miniature from the Brazilian states of Rio de Janiero and Sao Paulo. It grows in areas of high rainfall at elevations from 2600 to 3300 ft. Culture: I have always grown this in cool conditions but know people who have done well with it in intermediate temperature. The specimen plant was wedged between two pieces of tree fern and set inside the pot. I have also grown it mounted successfully. It gets daily water and dilute fertilizer for most of the year when mounted. If potted, less often. It is dry or close to dry before it is watered again. Give it good humidity and with shady conditions. Good air movement seems essential to success. Centroglossa macroceras. I did not take photographs of the parents of this cross, but show two images that represent the species well.
