Sold out Coelogyne schilleriana #4112 outcross (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: Found in Thailand and Myanmar as an epiphyte at elevations from 660 to 4000 ft. The flowers ae about 3” wide on a miniature plant. This grows in a monsoon climate and needs a drier winter. Culture: I grow this in intermediate conditions (56 to 80F) in moderately bright light though it can be grown quite bright. It can also be grown warmer. I only have experience growing this mounted on cork. It can be grown potted in an open medium. In the winter less water is needed but it should not be dry for any extended period of time. Best to eliminate fertilizer during the winter season. Coelogyne schilleriana: I didn’t take images when I made the cross so show here some good examples of the species: |
