Sold out Cyrtorchis praetermissa #4776 (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: This is found throughout much of Africa at elevations from 1500 to 6100 ft. It is found primarily in woodland forest and occasionaly in riverside forest. The plant is up to 10". The arching inforescence emerges below the leaves with 3 to 12 flowers per inflorescence. The fragrance is similar to lily of the valley and the flowers change color the lonerg they are open. Culture: Grow this in cool to intermediate temperature in filtered light. Water heavily from late spring to early August with drier condtions in fall and winter. The roots should dry quickly between waterings It can be grown mounted with good humidity and in a pot/basket in an open fast draining medium. Cyrtorchis praetermissa: representative examples
