Sold out Gongora garayana outcross #2905 outcross ('5110' x '#2') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: A new species of Gongora described in 2000. It is found only in Colombia at elevations from 3300 to 4000 ft where it grows as an epiphyte. The flowers are large and fragrant. Culture: I have been growing these in a warm greenhouse (65 to 85F) in moderate shade. They are growing in a fine bark mix in a plastic basket. The inflorescence starts out horizontal and then becomes pendant when it gets over the side of the container. It doesn't need to be in a basket, but it does display best when it is hanging. I water it year round and use dilute fertilzer. It should also be able to be grown in intermediate conditions as well. Capsule Parent: Gongora garayana '5110'
