Sold out Habenaria dentata x self #4496 (approximately 15 seedlings per flask). The Species: This terrestrial orchid is widespread throughout much of Asia in grassland and savannah-like woodlands at elevations from 2000 to 6000 feet. It comes from areas with a monsoon climate. The inflorescence can carry up to 15 of the 1.2 to 1.6” flowers. Culture: This can be grown in a variety of temperatures in an open terrestrial mix. It will take a bit more light that many habenarias. Water well when in growth and reduce watering as the leaves begin to die back. Once growth begins again, you can begin watering being careful to not lodge water in the center of the rosette of leaves before they have opened up. Parent plant: Habenaria dentata |
