Sold out Jumellea jumelleana selfing #818 (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: I got this plant in a mix of unidentifed miniature species in an importation from Madagascar. Whenever possible I like to make an outcross, but in this case I only have the one clone and think this is worthy of wider cultivation. It is an attractive, small plant with a proportionally large flower. Culture: I originally grew it mounted, but have moved it to a pot and it is doing much better for me. It grows in humid, evergreen forest at elevations from 2650 to 5000 ft. I've been growing it with 56F minimum night, moderate to moderately bright light, year round water with dilute fertilizer.
