Sold Out Masdevallia decumana outcross #606 ('#1 Peru' x '3650') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: It grows at elevations of about 6500 feet in northern Peru. This species will bloom throughout the year and is especially floriferous in the winter and spring. Culture: It is an intermediate to cool grower and like all cloud-forest plants, it requires good quality water and year round moisture. I fertilize them with 1/4 strength fertilizer most of the year and a bit lower strength in winter. Because of the pendant flowers, they are most easily displayed when grown mounted. I have also grown them potted in a fine bark mix and moss. Care should be taken to repot before the media breaks down if they are grown potted. Capsule Parent: Masdevallia decumana '#1 Peru'
