Masdevallia wageneriana selfing #5000 and 5001 (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: A miniature species that produces generous flushes of flowers that present themselves well. This is endemic to Venezuela where it grows at elevations from 3600 to 6000 ft. Culture: I've had this species for a very long time and have always grown this in cool conditions because when I got it that was all I had. Judging from the elevation range, this would also do well in intermediate or slightly warmer temperatures. Give it moderate light, good quality water, dilute fertilizer and a humid environment. It can be grown mounted or potted. Parent: Masdevallia wageneriana |
