Sold out Polystachya campyloglossa x self #4927 (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: This is the first Polystachya species I grew and it is still one of my favorites with the best fragrance of the genus. My friend Walter Teague collected this plant years agowhile in Kenya. I have grown it since 1984. It is a compact plant with a wonderful fragrance (lemony) and very long lasting flowers which are relatively large for the plant. It grows in East Africa at elevations from 3600 to 6000 ft. Culture: This species does well in cool and intermediate conditions with year round watering, regular fertilizer and moderate to moderately bright light. I grow it potted in fine or medium bark and water as it approaches dryness. It is an epiphyte in nature so should do well mounted. Capsule and Pollen Parent: Polystachya campyloglossa
