Sold Out Polystachya campyloglossa #729 selfing (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: This is the first Polystachya species I grew and it is still one of my favorites .It is a compact plant with a wonderful fragrance (lemony) and very long lasting flowers which are relatively large for the plant. I have tried a number of times over the years to acquire another clone of this, but all of them have been Poly zambesiaca. It grows in East Africa at elevations from 3600 to 6000 ft. Culture: This species does well in cool and intermediate conditions with year round watering, regular fertilizer and moderate to moderately bright light. I grow it potted in fine or medium bark and water as it approaches dryness. It should be possible to grow it mounted, but I haven't tried that. Capsule and Pollen Parent: Polystachya campyloglossa
