Rangeris musicola spontaneous #2598 (approximately 25 seedlings per flask).

The Species: Widespread in Africa, this species is found at elevations from 1950 to 7200 ft. The leaves can be up to 8” long and are carried on a short stem. The arching to pendant inflorescence carries 10 to 20 of the sweetly scented, 1.5" flowers. The flowers begin white and become apricot-colored with time.

Culture: Grow in filtered light in cool to intermediate conditions. In nature this plant has two drier periods from December through March and a less severe, secondary dry season in July and August. In cultivation, winters should be somewhat drier but the plants should not remain without water for an extended period of time. These can be grown mounted, but generally are best grown in pots with a coarse mix.
