Robiquetia cerina selfing #1835 (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). This is a selfing of a plant of Robiquetia cerina yellow form that a friend has in his collection. Someone dared him to see if he could make seed. The selfing was successful and has grown well. The image is not of the parent, but shows an example of this color form of Robiquetia cerina. The Species: It is found in New Guinea and the Philippine Islands where it grows at elevation above 1100 ft as an epiphyte. Culture: This grows in intermediate to warm conditions. It can be grown mounted or potted. Water as it approaches dryness, use dilute fertilizer and grow in medium light. Robiquetia cerina yellow |
