Sold out Sarcochilus olivaceus outcross #3495 ('1' x 2') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: Found in eastern Australia from southeastern New South Wales to northeastern Queensland, usually in shady, humid locations in or near rainforest. They frequently grow on mossy branches or trunks as well as growing lithophytically. The inflorescence can have up to 14 flowers which are up to 3/4" on a small plant. Culture: This is considered a cool grower, however, I have grown in cool-intermediate conditions very well. Usually, these are grown mounted. They have long roots so a longer mount is ideal. The roots need to dry quickly and good humidity helps the plants to do well. In nature, the plants get a bit less water in winter, but never really dry out completely. Grow in somewhat shady conditions. The images shown here are representative of the species. The last image is in situ.
