Sold out Vanda (Ascocentrum) ampullacea alba sibling cross #4957 ('4764' x '4767') (approximately 25 seedlings per flask). The Species: This is a cross of two alba plants of Vanda ampullacea, formerly known as Ascocentrum ampullaceum. It has pristine, long-lasting blooms on a compact plant. Culture: It should be grown in bright light in warm or intermediate conditions. I grow this species both mounted and in a wooden basket with no medium in it. It is watered frequently but it is dry very quickly and remains dry for a day or two. As can be seen below, I have also grown in potted in medium bark. Capsule Parent: Vanda ampullacea alba Pollen parent: Vanda ampullacea alba |
