The Species: This is a cross of two "red" plants of Vanda ampullacea, formerly known as Ascocentrum ampullaceum. It is a bright spot in the greenhouse with its long-lasting and vibrant blooms on a compact plant

Culture: It should be grown in bright light in warm or intermediate conditions. I grow this species both mounted and in a wooden basket with no medium in it. It is watered frequently but it dries very quickly and remains dry for a day or two before watering again.
