She died on 28 June 1740 at the age of 71 in USA, Massachusetts, Essex Co., Methuen. She was buried on 29 June 1740.

He served in the military in 1724–1725 at expeditions against the Abenaki Indians in New Hampshire and Maine.¹⁴⁵⁶ Abiel enlisted from Haverhill into John Lovewell's militia company. He was engaged in the fight but was not wounded (Stearns 294). He died after 1790 at the age of 87 in Massachusetts Colony, Essex Co., Salem.¹⁴⁵⁶ The Austin homestead was included in Methuen at the incorporation of the town, December 8, 1725, and in 1741, by the readjustment of the province line, it was included in Salem, New Hampshire. Abiel and his wife Sarah had ten children and lived in Methuen and Salem. Abiel was still living in Salem, aged 86, in 1790 (Stearns 293).

Zebediah Austin¹⁴⁵⁷ was born on 7 April 1706 in Massachusetts Colony, Essex Co., Andover.⁹¹³ Austin, ______, ch. [torn] and Hannah, Apr. 7, 1706.
He served in the military in 1724–1725 at expeditions against the Abenaki Indians in New Hampshire and Maine.¹⁴⁵⁷ Zebadiah enlisted from Haverhill into John Lovewell's militia company and was one of the ten men left at the fort (Stearns 295). While he was at Fort Ossipee the rest of the company left to raid the Abenaki town of Pequawket, now Fryeburg, Maine. Of the 36 militiamen on the raid, only 17 returned, Lovewell himself dying in battle. Zebadiah and Sarah settled in Methuen and had eight children (Stearns 295).
