Silver Coins of Volusian

Uncertain Mints / Ancient Forgeries

RIC 197-204 are all either uncertain or mules with other emperor's reverses
203 IMP CAE C VIB VOLUSIANO AVG Bust radiate, draped, cuirassed  r. This coin was listed by Cohen, but Mattingly could not find an example and states "uncertain, confirmation required."   A second specimen that I know of was in the CGB Sale ROME-XI.  Their coin was 3.14g, mine is 2.9.
PROVIDENTIA AVGG Providentia std. l., holding corn ears
unlisted IMP CAE C VIB VOLUSIANO AVG Bust radiate, draped, cuirassed  r. Unlisted reverse legend.  I listed it with issue 1 because that group includes PAX AVGVST.  The coin looks a little odd and may be an ancient or modern forgery.
PAX AVGVSTI  Pax stg. l., holding branch and transverse sceptre

unlisted IMP CC VIB VOLUSIANVS AVG Bust radiate, draped, cuirassed  r. Reverse of Philip II (?)
