I’m Genevieve Marie Salazar, and I was born in Redwood, Minnesota on November 7th, 1989. My parents are Jean and Richard Salazar and I have two brothers, Erik who’s 25, and Luc who’s 13. I’ve lived in Sebastopol most of my life, since we moved from Arizona when I was three. Since I was 6 we’ve had six different exchange students. 5 were from Japan and the 6th, Constantin, who is currently staying with us for a year, is from Germany. I love to travel, but I’ve never actually been out of my country. I love music, I thrive off of it. I don’t think I could live without it. I love most music, but especially reggae, electro, and different kinds of metal. Me and my friends go to concerts a lot, or just hang out around town. I’m an actress; I’m usually in our schools plays. This spring were doing the musical “Bye Bye Birdie” that I’m participating in. I have a big sense of humor and I love to laugh. I think this trip will open up my eyes to more than just my community that I’ve lived in for so long.
