These are the original "nerds" that put together the SRJC Internet infrastructure; a lot of the time they spent getting things up, and keeping them running, was purely volunteer.

Dane left the school in January, 1995, to pursue his career as senior systems administrator at North Bay Medical Associates, as well a partner at Sonoma Interconnect (Sonic.net), a local Internet service provider. He also managed to glom onto the California LINUX license plate.

Dustin was hired by the Napanet Consortium -- this is a consortium of schools in Napa that banded together to give themselves Net connectivity. Later, he moved on to Songline Studios in Sebastopol -- publishers of the prestigous Web Review magazine, and an affiliate of O'Reilly & Associates.

After Staci finished her degree in Fashion Merchandising, she assisted in management of TreadleArt, a local sewing store (I'm sure there's a better term for it...:). In any event, thank goodness she had time to keep us organized at Sonic!.

Dave is still Manager of Campus Data and Telecommunications; he's also owner of Zap Communications in Ukiah -- yet another ISP!

I left SRJC in September, 1995. (It seemed the fashionable thing to do.) I'm the other owner of Sonic.
