Guest Poet LeAnn Suggs
The Journey
Your journey has been long
The road not straight
Roughened by stones
They have cut deep
Rocks rained down from the mountains
Crushing your spirits
Crossing of rain filled lakes
You had to swim
Yet you go on, searching
Pushing towards the light
Towards the place you belong
March, 2001
LeAnn Suggs's Questions:
Is the poem to short?
Should I add anything to it?
Any help would be appreciated.
