PICTURE CREDITS

 

The following convention was used for naming of all the pictures on this site. To see the actual picture name just click on the thumbnail to get the larger image, the name will be on the top. Also you donÕt have to click the back button to get the thumbnail again. Just click on the large picture and it will go back to the thumbnails.

 

 

If the name looks like ?????          The pictures were taken by Bill or Pat with a Sony DSC30. All the originals were between 150kb and 1.4 mb.

 

 

If the name looks like DSC_XXXX (with an underscore)      The pictures were taken by Bill  with a Nikon 705 Single lens reflex digital. All the originals were between 150kb and 1.4 mb.

 

 

If the name looks like DSC0XXXX (with a red date stamp). The pictures were taken by Yuke Yoshikawa with a Sony Cybershot DSC-T33. All the originals were about 2.3 mb (Yuke was on the same trip a few days later)

 

 

If the name looks like IMG_0136 to IMG_0292         The pictures were taken by Lynne with a Canon PowerShot FD300.  All the originals were between 300kb and 1.8 mb.

 

 

If the name looks like DSCNXXXX         The pictures were taken by Shelly with a Nikon Coolpix 5000. All the originals were about 1.3 mb.

 

 

If the name looks like DSCNGXXX         The pictures were taken by Gene with a Nikon Coolpix 5700. All the originals were about 1. mb.

 

 

If the name looks like IMG_05xx or there is text in the title.              The pictures were taken by Denise or Irwin with a Canon A75 Sure Shot All the originals were around 700kb.

 

 

If the name starts with Lou or Marge   The pictures were taken by Lou with a Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom & Marge with a Olympus C-50 Zoom. All the originals were about 1 mb.

 

 

If the name look like IAN_05xx or IMG_06xx Š IMG1xxx, The pictures were taken by Ian with a ????. All the originals were about 500k.

 

 

If the name has a date and a lot of words, and a red date stamp, day-mo-year (with a red date stamp). The pictures were taken by Chuck or Corinne with a ?????

The ones on the website are about 400k and the thumbnails are about 50k

The web pages were built as follows:

 

 

A folder was made of pictures for a particular topic.

 

 

Pictures were selected for a particular topic

 

 

Then I copied the pictures onto my Compact Flash card and re-read it, using AppleÕs Image Capture software. It made a web page. (One of many options)

 

 

Then  I changed some of the slide titles to real words, changed background color, put in titles, and arrows.
