David Ayala's been lifting life's burdens and gladdening people's souls with his music since he was four years old, when his aunt Jean gave him a four-string guitar. Recently he has been playing Balkan and international dance tunes on the accordion, clarinet and guitar, with VFO - The Village Folk Orkestra in Nevada City, California.

You can sometimes catch Dave (as "Les Tarr") in the program Clodhoppers. It features music and comedy from the Sierra Nevada foothills. Check through the NCTV Video on Demand Archives at Nevada County TV.
