2350 Santa Rosa Avenue
Santa Rosa, CA
Located on a large commercial street with a high traffic volume this former Moose Lodge building had great potential as a retail site. TFA and its design team architecturally and structurally rehabilitated this building, added value to the property and increased potential lease rates. In addition to applying plaster over the concrete block walls, TFA created new window openings for retail display and added tower elements at the building corners to improve signage visibility.
This building adjoins the site for the Council on Aging complex which TFA was concurrently designing and the three buildings on these sites share an architectural design palette. They also share a common street entrance to their adjacent parking lots. This familial relationship in building design helps create a campus feel for the overall site and enhances the retail building’s presence at this prominent intersection.
