Newest Mosaic!

 "Vincent's Cornfield"
"Vincent's Cornfield" is a stroke by stroke translation of van Gogh's last painting, "Crows over a Cornfield",
into mosaic.

This work is a new direction for me. I have not used shapes of glass to represent recognizable objects in the same way as my previous work. Instead, I have carefully cut each piece so that it approximates a crystalized brush stroke. Cutting the glass to represent the brush strokes of Impressionist painting creates a bold new "andemento", (visual flow and direction).
