| In March, 1986 we camped by this ancient high desert lake just east of the Sierra Nevada. That evening we watched Halley's Comet, and in the first light were seranaded by coyotes. This view is from the South Tufa area, looking west toward Tioga Pass into Yosemite National Park. | ||||||||||||||
