I have gotten a glimpse of this scene many times as I have driven east on Highway 20 over Swinomish Channel. This time I got a few shots as we arced over the bridge into Skagit Valley with the Cascade Range in the distance. I used eight creep-etches to achieve the tonal transitions in the layered ridges and tree lines.
