In the summer of 1973 I was on a bicycle tour in Alberta, Canada. I rode up to Moraine Lake, only to be told that I could not camp there. I was ready to leave when a couple offered lock my bike in their truck and then join them in a canoe trip to the far end of the lake. We camped there for the night and woke to this view across the lake.
