| This painting is from a photograph that I took on Patos Island in the San Juan Islands, Washington. The abstract patterns in the eroded rocks have always fascinated me, and were an engaging subject to draw from. I used oil paint thinned in turpentine on watercolor paper. Other paintings that are done this way are, Sea Rock, Wormwood #2 and The Slot. | ||||||||||
