| I took several of the drawing classes that Beatrice Thompson taught at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She had us work on this figure-in- nature scene for several sittings. We used turpentine to paint thin washes of oil paint on paper. Another painting for one her classes is Still Life. | ||||||||||
