| I took several of the drawing classes that Beatrice Thompson taught at the University of California at Santa Cruz. She loved detail, and would set up still lifes that we would work on for several weeks. We used turpentine to paint thin washes of oil paint on paper. Another painting I did for one of her classes is Girl in the Woods. | ||||||||||
