The most precise tension adjustment is available from our Museum Bars^® or expansion bolt stretcher bars. These stretcher bars have a mechanical joint at each corner and every brace intersection. Our heavy-duty

and normal-duty wood-keyed stretchers use traditional wooden "keys" or wedges to expand the joints. A cost alternative is our rigid strainers. Strainers give a fixed framework for stretching art fabrics. All John Annesley Company stretcher bars and strainers are available in a variety of depths(thicknesses) and beading options.
