The Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sebastopol have entered a partnership to establish an economic development program.

The economic development program’s efforts have focused on realizing the vision found in the City of Sebastopol Economic Development Strategy.

The vision is to “maintain a high quality of life by promoting an economic climate that is supportive of existing businesses, attracts new businesses that satisfy unmet area resident and visitor needs in a manner that supports Sebastopol’s unique identity, appreciation and respect for the environment and sense of place, while creating new jobs for residents of all income levels, and promoting an improved jobs housing balance."

The economic development office at the Chamber of Commerce offers a "one stop" business resource for information on site location, financing, taxes, and local permit regulations. Free initial consultations are available at the Chamber office.
