National Classroom AquaBaby Study - 2000
AquaBabies teamed up with classrooms across the United States to learn more about the actual performance and water quality in these little fish tanks from different manufacturers and different parts of the country. Each student was supplied with an AquaBaby and the teachers were given lesson plans and test kits to follow the ecosystems over time. We requested these be given to 5th or 6th grade level and the test run for at least 8 weeks but this was not always the case. We will report the results of every class which returned information to us regardless of the result.

The study is ongoing and we will add data as it becomes available. The project is already a sucess: both teachers and their students felt they gained valuable insight into the AquaBabies ecosystems. This type of partnership has also provided us with data over time from very different geographical regions. It corroborates what we already know about the AquaBaby design: it is balanced and provides a suitable environment for the inhabitants. We have also found an overwhelming positive response from AquaBaby owners. Original copies of the above data can be provided on request.
