My newest venture is the production of little aquatic micro aquaria. In this way I have gone back to a scale I can handle. AquaBabies consist of a acrylic 4 inch cube, baby fish (hardy ornamental species), an aquatic plant and my knowledge of aquatic environments. AquaBabies may be my best contribution to Aquaculture, the profession. They do not require much care, no aeration and are relatively inexpensive, I have customers who have often never considered owning fish before. They have gone to offices, classrooms, hospitals, nursing homes and other locations in which space is limited. People become extremely attached to their watery pets and I have no doubt this will increase the sales of other aquariums and fish as pets. To date, we have sold about 100,000 (six months) but I hope that with a little luck we could sell a million.

AquaBabies are beginning to be born in the far reaches of the US and I am happy to say in Europe, there are some that actually speak French.
