Friday, September 21st, 2001 ... 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. ... KZSU, 90.1 FM

Special guest Dave Slusser will be on at 5:00 to talk about his new CD, "Rubber City" and his CD release party at Yoshi's on Monday, Sept. 24.

Dave's a regular on KZSU's annual Day of Noise, and he's also done soundtrack work. Rubber City is a melding of jazz ideas, improv influences, and a nice sense of fun.

Separately, it's John Coltrane's birthday on Sunday Sept. 23. He would have been 75 this year.
