Threw in a couple Esquivel tracks, to commemorate his passing on Jan. 3, 2002. Cool "space age bachelor-pad music," they call it nowadays, and it's got a Jetsons kind of edge to it.
Also a couple local bands with events coming up: Ashley Adams Trio, playing a farewell party for their drummer on Jan. 12 at Tuva Space (3192 Adeline, Berkeley) ... and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, who are out on tour and coming home to play Bottom of the Hill on Jan. 26.
