• Scott Amendola Band and Carla Kihlstedt -- they'll be doing a joint CD release party at the Great American Music Hall on Tuesday Feb. 25. I've heard both their CDs, and it's awesome stuff. A wide variety of accessible/free jazz on Scott's (with Nels Cline on guitar) ... and lots of quirky violin trickery and great vocals on Carla's.
