Previewing the SF Alternative Music Festival, which continues through this weekend. Great combination of local folks and visiting musicians mixing it up in mostly improvised settings... lots of strange abstract stuff, a bit of upbeat poppy stuff, plenty of abstract jazz and a few noisy freak-outs. Check out the program at sfalt.org.
