For weeks I've been talking about the wonderful spectrum of styles on this 2-CD set, so here I finally played an example. "Wild Orchids" is a jam of sax (Lloyd) and drums (Higgins), nicely propulsive free-jazzy stuff that you'd expect from them. "Blues Tinge" is a blues, just guitar and voice. Both tracks give you the feel of two old guys just having fun in the studio, creating whatever music crosses their paths.

A mini-album of '60s covers by Rush! Ragnar (whose show follows mine this quarter) and I share a love/hate relationship with prog rock. Picked this one up last weekend and couldn't resist using it as a segue into his show.
