18th Century composer whom I had never heard of before. Stumbled onto this piece of vinyl while randomly scanning the KZSU library.

Nice little modern-chamber group of violin, cello, and two percussionists (marimba in this case). Pieces are in sort of a modern-minimalist vein, but with lightly driving rhythms and upbeat moods.

A leader of Jaga Jazzist showing off classical chops. This is an exuberant chamber piece that includes drum machine/electronica backing and ends with his saxophone soloing atop the ensemble. Cool stuff.
