"Healing the Drama of the Inner Judge & Victim "

The cause of most suffering in our human lives is the result of the self abuse and self rejection caused by the Inner Judge. This Judge has been programmed into our minds by the process of "domestication" during our childhoods. The Toltecs call this complex of the Judge, and the inner Victim Child that he is abusing, the "Parasite"-- a living dream that becomes part of every Human's mind.

During the last several years, as a counseling hypnotherapist and as an apprentice with the Toltec Master don Miguel Ruiz, Allan has created a road map of the characters of the mind's inner world, and the route to their healing. The map begins with the Judge, and ends at the "Joydancer," the healed aspects of the inner self that are free to dance in celebration with joy in the world.

This road map of healing has become an important teaching for many modalities, including therapists, 12-step professionals and clients, teenagers, and the Toltec teachers associated with the work of Miguel Ruiz.

Allan's presentation describes how the process of our childhood domestication teaches us a system of beliefs and agreements that we continue to use into our adult lives. Out of that domestication comes the energy of the Inner Judge, the Victim Child, and a Wall of Masks and strategies to protect the Child. The Spiritual Warrior enters the drama with unconditional love and acceptance for the Victim Child, as the antidote for the criticism and rejection of the Judge. In time, the Warrior gains enough personal power to extend that same unconditional love to the Judge himself, who the Warrior understands is actually another strategy of an emotionally wounded child.

Out of the healing and reunion of these split-off child strategies emerges the Joydancer, filled with love and personal freedom in the dance of life. The Joydancer's relationship with God is strong, and thus the healing is complete.

One of the dominant bricks in the Wall of Masks and Strategies is often Addiction. In this specific presentation, don Allan will focus on the strategy of addiction, and how the Victim Child creates it to protect him or her self from the pain of rejection by the Judge. Allan will explore how rejecting the Addiction and other strategies in this inner drama often leads to more pain and to relapse.

The presentation of the Joydancer road map includes lecture, visual presentations, and exercises for participants to help themselves discover, accept, and heal their particular "bricks" in the Wall of Masks and Strategies.
