Neo is named after the hero from the movie The Matrix. In this movie, Keanu Reeves is a computer hacker who is destined to save the human race. His alias is Neo. The magazine, Entertainment Weekly ran an article that explained a lot of the "hidden" meanings in The Matrix. For instance, Neo is an anagram for "one". Which means that Neo (Reeves) was the chosen ONE. Well, our Neo is the chosen puppy to join our family. He is the one for us. Besides, we like the way it sounds.
