Jackson #1 is located at the corner of Mariposa and Arkansas, in San Francisco's Potrero Hill district. Situated between the quiet neighborhood and the warehouses of the South of Market industrial area, Jackson Playground has sweeping views of the downtown skyline. Jackson #1 is notorious for the wall of wind coming in from left field that can turn a game between the mightiest of sluggers into a defensive battle. That is quite the contrast to the effect the wind has on it's sister park Jackson #2. As an added bonus, the park sits just across the street from the Anchor Steam Brewing Company which can leave a temping aroma in the air.
