The Jewish Community Center, Sonoma County gives its heartfelt thanks to:

All who attended Simcha Sunday either for the first time or as a seasoned Simcha Sunday-er.

THANK YOU

All the volunteers who graciously signed up for shifts and showed up for their assigned tasks.

The greeters who welcomed all with smiling faces.

The Green Team. These volunteers patiently helped direct refuse to the correct bin: compost, landfill or recycling. The Computer Recycling Center collected eWaste and donated two computers that were given away.

All who donated door prizes. These wonderful items helped the Jewish Community Center, Sonoma County gather contact information from more than 300 households. This is one of the ways the JCC helps to build and strengthen the local Jewish community and to provide information about JCC programs.

The Challah bakers and judges! Our first Invitational Challah Championship was judged by Rabbi George Schlesinger, Rabbi George Gittleman and SRJC Culinary Instructor Cathy Burgett. Our wonderful bakers were: Janine Bamberger, Susanne Batzdorff, Melissa Bloom, Joy Danzig (1st place), Marsha Harris (2nd place), Margaret Livingston, Leanne Schy (3rd place), Altie Wolvovsky.

The Friendship Circle bakers, volunteers and staff who provided festival-goers with lots of sweet treats at the Kugel and Cookie Corner

The Children’s Activity Area volunteers who provided hands-on crafts and activities for our young visitors.

The businesses and individuals who advertised in our day-of-event program and who donated services and products.

The JCC Staff, Board of Directors and Steering Committee for encouraging and supporting this event in so many important ways.

All of our sponsors who helped make the event possible with special thanks to The Jewish Community Federation, Judi Hyman, Sonoma County Jewish Youth Commission, Ukiah Podiatry, Val & Jonathan Kreger and the Bohemian.

And last but certainly not least, special thanks to Barney and the wonderful staff at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building.
